Joining the Club

Against what passes for my better judgment, I have decided to join The Gaddis Drinking Club, where a motley group of bloggers will be reading and expounding upon William Gaddis's first novel, The Recognitions. The other members of the conversation are likely to actually have something interesting to say; as for me, I'll try hard.
